Headquartered in France, the AXA Group operates in more than 50 countries, with over 154,000 employees and 95 million customers. It owns one of the most valuable insurance brands and generates annual revenues of around 110 billion euros.

In Brazil, we began operations in 2015 and offer a complete insurance solution for businesses of all sizes, with products tailored to each company's specific reality.

We also offer individual insurance products that take into account people’s life moments and needs, as well as those of their families. These products are marketed in partnership with service companies, retailers, and financial institutions.

We have two main offices, in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, in addition to 14 branches that serve all regions of the country.

House of Insurence brings the insurance sector to the center of the climate discussion, alongside companies from various industries, the government, and civil society. More than just debating, we are seeking effective solutions to ensure responsible development.

For AXA, being part of this large sectoral coalition is part of our commitment to environmental issues and our responsibility in creating a secure future. We believe insurance is a powerful tool to drive an entire chain of sustainable businesses, through products and services that foster resilience and encourage ESG practices in companies.

OUR COMMITMENT
TO THE CLIMATE AGENDA

As an insurance company, we play a key role in understanding climate change by combining our expertise in risk management, the extensive volume of claims data we collect, and our support for climate risk research. We also take responsibility for spreading knowledge about emerging risks and, through our underwriting decisions, highlighting the challenges society faces and encouraging preventive action.

Science and political ambition show the need for robust collective action to fight climate change. We recognize that this is a medium- to long-term threat with complex impacts on our activities. That’s why AXA’s strategy goes beyond adaptation: we leverage our expertise to provide concrete solutions.

In addition, through significant investments, we are well-positioned to engage with the financial community and the companies we invest in, adopting frameworks such as the one developed by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to promote a more sustainable economy.
